A note from our founder
"I started Farryn Amber back in 2018 as I noticed that as I was getting older, my skin was beginning to change and crave things that I wasn’t able to find on the market. In my search for products to use I found that so many brands had long, complex ingredients lists that were almost impossible to translate and left me confused as to what it was I was actually putting on my skin. As my knowledge grew, so did the passion to create something new.
Having grown up with a very holistic, natural background that was passed on to me from my mother in Australia, I knew that there had to be a better, cleaner way for me to feed my skin without the need for all these nasty ingredients. I knew that I wanted to create a brand that was honest, transparent and clean, with products that you could pick up, read the back of the bottle and clearly identify what was inside.
Fast forward to now and I can’t believe that the little business I started out of my apartment in South London has grown to be where it is today, with our products being shipped worldwide and an ever growing community of people looking to be more natural in their everyday lives. In order for us to continue to grow we have been working tirelessly on a rebrand that will help show the world what Farryn Amber stands for.
You will notice a fresh, new website with added sections on sustainability where readers can gain a better understanding of the ingredients we use in our products. We have improved formulas for many of our products and updated our packaging and labels to be much more sustainable and aesthetically pleasing.
All of our products are still made in-house with manual machinery which not only helps reduce our carbon footprint, but also means we can maintain the quality that we put into every product. We’re working closely with PETA in the fight to stop animal testing and for every Beauty Bundle sold on our site, we will be donating £1. We have also introduced One Tree Planted as a permanent resident on our platform so there is now an option at checkout for customers to plant a tree with their order.
I wanted to bring a lot of the things that I was taught growing up further into Farryn Amber and through this rebrand we are able to bring them into the forefront of the business: Sustainability. Cruelty Free. Vegan. Plant Based. These pillars of the business are put into everything we do, from our products, packaging, formulating, manufacturing and distribution and I hope that our customers know that by shopping with us they are making a positive impact on our planet.
In making these changes it will enable us to not only grow as a business, but improve our sustainability efforts to ensure that we can continue to make a positive impact on our planet.
